The light rail station was inspired by the notion of movement and openness , and thus a streamline idea was implemented. This was very much inspired by david Adjaye's ideas of spacious and free flowing architecture.Moreover, the use of a reflective material further alludes to ideas of movement .This is evident from the front view of the light rail station.

The extended arms of the arhictectural piece is not only used for aestecs purposes but also for shading , thus alluding to Gonzalez De leon's notions of "creating useful objects" in architecture.

The use of wood as the inner lining of the light rail station is further used to associate notions with  Gonzalez De leon's idea of architecture as a patio , where "everybody meets here".
