Theory:

1. transparency
2. closure
3. openness

Within architecture , transparency plays a crucial role in defining a building's purpose and its intent. An opaque building often is associated with privacy whilst transparent building are welcoming and is often associate with public spaces. Thus within my design , it reveals how a transgression between transparency and opaque surfaces creates a space whereby it may simultaneously be private and public at the same time.
This can be seen through the moving elements which transform a public space into a private space , allowing for the space to exhibit features of both private and public spaces.
